“As long as I have breath, Lord, I promise this…I will always Worship You.”
Singer, author, and pastor Martha Munizzi can SANG, y’all! This Worship Song of hers, “I Will Always” is my favorite from her and really has stuck with me. When my sister was in elementary school, she did liturgical dance. I went to one of her dance company’s shows, and she danced to this. The message of the song has stuck with me for years.
The song is simply a song of declaration before the Lord, that, no matter what, we will worship the Lord and put no one before Him.
It’s a bold statement, because…well, life be lifing. And sometimes, we let our rough times distract us from the goodness of the Lord. But the message here is that we should always be willing to love on God and give Him the praise. Not just for what He’s done but for WHO HE IS. “I will always…give You the glory, worship You only,” Martha sings on the track.
It’s a beautiful, calming song that I still enjoy years later. Take a listen below!
