The first Inspirational Jam of 2021. I’m feeling really good with this one right here. Singer Victoria Monét‘s song, “The Glow” is an upbeat, disco-style track that celebrates confidence and growth in yourself.

The track was featured on season 3 of hit HBO series, Insecure, starring Issa Rae and Yvonne Orji. On the song, Victoria sings about succeeding not only in her career but also in cultivating a stronger mindset overall. Of course, it doesn’t come easy. “To reach that upper level, your mind, body, and soul must be one,” Victoria sings on the pre-chorus. “It’s a sacrifice, it takes hard work. It’s a way of life.”

This is a serious mood going into 2021. I’ve picked up momentum in my personal and professional life and it’s all steam ahead for me. I know that many of you are doing the same. Let this song be an encouragement for you.
