Grown Up Skincare Roundup

There are moments in every woman's life that are defining. The time you discover your signature scent, the first time you offer well-earned advice to someone younger and when you finally nail your quintessential dinner party menu. For me, honing in on my grown up skincare habits has been one of the key things and appreciating that investing in what I put on my face is not a luxury, it's a necessity. If I want to be an ethereal 60 year old with a certain je ne sais quoi then now is the time to start. I usually light a candle, burn some incense and slather this lovely lot on my face:

Clarins: Beauty Flash Balm
A face mask you don't take off, this stuff is like a face lift in a bottle. Plus it smells divine. I once wore no makeup and only this on a date and was told I looked 'glowing'. What other reviews do you need?

Guinot: Masque Yeux
Eyes are the window to the soul so they go through a lot. This cooling mask is lovely to apply and you can really see a difference after chilling with this on for 15 minutes. I normally make a cup of tea and have a cheeky Instagram/Pinterest scroll while I wait for it to work its magic.

Clinique: Custom-Repair Serum
Unlike moisturisers, serums can't be applied with reckless abandon or else they will irritate the skin. Mainly focus on the t-zone and around your eyes. This Clinique offering is particularly potent so I love using it on a Sunday evening to mask all traces of Prosecco from my person.

Elemis: Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
This might just be my favourite thing on my bathroom shelf. If I could eat it, I would (yes it smells and feels that great), It's so good at cleansing I kind of what to rub it over my whole life, as well as my face

What luxury beauty products do you swear by? Suggestions to help enable my skincare addiction are more than welcome.
