Stop Procrastination – Now or Later?

Good Day Everyone!

We all want to be very much active in life – Keeping up the pace from one scene to another – Juggling on multiple Activities like a pro…but do we succeed at it?

The answer depends on whether you are a procrastinator or not!

What is Procrastination

Procrastination is, by definition, Delaying important tasks for less urgent tasks or tasks with high pleasure value associated..e.g. delaying tasks like submitting important documents to authority, setting up a questionnaire for a next week’s training activity, preparing an important presentation for a big conference scheduled in couple of weeks etc for less important/pleasure seeking tasks such as Television, Social Network, A sleep filled with Lethargy etc..This way, we end up delaying our important tasks to the point after which it cannot be deferred…much like a snooze button on our alarm clocks!

Procrastination puts us in a spot of bother as it takes our focus away from Action and keeps it stuck up only at “thoughts” level!

Activity

Take control in your hands!

Today, List down all the activities you have in mind right now – use any to-do list software. (I use ticktick.com – its a nice tool & its free!)

Make sure that you stay committed to the list – If its there on the list, its gotta be done!

Once you list down everything – sort it based on the time required and finish off all small tasks first – this will give you the confidence booster  – and then take important matters into hand!

Those who do more – get more so never procrastinate!
