I’m finding it necessary for some brief updates for all that are interested about my current state.

This last week has been such a blessing. Though we intended to settle down for a few months in Bend Oregon, a small city by the name of Sisters, just 20 minutes outside of Bend, called our names.

Ricky has found full time labor work here, so we have found it worth while and worth our money to stay at an R. V park. I shall be helping out at local farmers markets soon and the area has endless places to explore.

Most useful information we have received has quiet literally been from bartenders, which has led us in directions that we could not have seen on the maps.

Within the last couple days we have had the pleasure to explore Tumalo Falls, a massive beautiful waterfall I shall post pictures of on my Instagram later today, and the Three Sisters Wilderness, a landscape of the Oregon desert full of wildlife. I cannot wait for the many to come; Smith Rock and Painted Hills are up next.

Being settled in one place for a while has given me the time to begin working on my upcoming book again, if you have not checked it out already, you can here!

It is an adventurous feeling to call a new place our home now, to learn it’s history, discover it’s nature and it’s people has been so fulfilling.
