Hey everyonel! I want to tell you about one of my favorite books. It is called Way of the Peaceful Warrior: A Book That Changes Lives. It was written by a man named Dan Millman. For many years Dan Millman's books have been amongst my favorites. Way of the Peaceful Warrior is a first in a Trilogy that includes Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior and The Journeys of Socrates: An Adventure. I haven't read the third in the series, but i will get to it soon. Dan Millman himself went though an adventure and wrote this incredible story. From injuring his back while training for the Olympics and being a top athlete in his game, he tells his story that occurred during his healing process, and has created a series of books to share his story and bring out the best in other people.

I first read the book about 10 years ago, but I find myself going back to it regularly. Easily read in an evening, it can help to re-define a perspective if you take it for what it is: a great story of trial, endurance and accomplishment. I have recommended it to many of my friends and it has recently been made into Peaceful Warrior The Movie.The movie isn't nearly as good as the book, but that is usually the case. I still recommend seeing it if you get a chance. I know that some of you have read it, a few of us have talked about it before, and it is evident in some of your writings that you are Peaceful Warriors in your own right.
