CAN YOU FORGIVE AND FORGET? (THE REVENANT - 2015)

For someone who Killed your son, how far would you go? You have seen him Stabbed to death, while you, the father, laid motionless, couldn’t speak a word but scream. No one would want to help, because no one is there. You were trapped in a forest far away from any inhabitable fort, and you were sick, couldn’t stand, weak and powerless.

Set in the wild western lands of the United States, The Revenant tells the story of an American Indian guide who was left for dead in a snow-covered forest. His small team of hunters are being pursued by Indian warriors after a fierce battle, and they are cowering for their lives.

When Hugh Glass, played by Leonardo Di Caprio, hunted for food, a giant bear tried to eat him alive. He fought hard and suffered big wounds around his body, but he refused to give up. He stabbed the bear and killed it before his men arrived. Now he is paralyzed, to the point of death. Seeing no more hope for his survival, they decided to leave him. A John Fitzgerald was commanded to give him a proper burial when he dies.

But he isn’t dying. In fact, he is recovering. And when Fitzgerald stabbed his only son, he pledged to hunt this murderer. But first, he must gather strength. His body couldn’t stand the cold, he can’t walk, and his wounds are not fully healed.

He found shelter in a small cave down the river. The last good thing he remembers was his son whispering him the words “I am not leaving you.” And he can’t wait to kill the man who murdered his innocent son.

When he had the chance, his life changed.
