If you ask any editor, they’ll tell you that the best way to know what’s cool at any given moment is to check their DMs, texts, and Slack messages. It’s there that we all communicate—i.e. send links to products of all kinds, from shoes to bags to dresses—about the items that we ourselves want. Because of that, when I’m feeling uninspired or in need of shopping recommendations, my go-to solution is to ask my co-workers for the links they’ve been sending their friends.
