7841ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Gilgit on July 20, announced the Chief Minister of GB Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman on Friday. The chief minister made the announcement after having a meeting with the prime minister in Islamabad. Mr. Sharif will lay the foundation stone of the Gilgit-Skardu road during the visit. He is also expected to announce a special constitutional package for GB. Reports say that the prime minister has constituted another high-level committee to finalize the proposals for constitutional reforms in Gilgit-Baltistan within next 20 days. During the CM's meeting with the prime minister, matters pertaining to the development of Gilgit -Baltistan also came under discussion. Mr. Hafeez thanked the prime minister for increasing the budget of GB, besides giving approval to a huge amount for public sector development projects in the region.   Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman also announced that besides establishing an engineering college and a medical college, two more universities will be set up in GB.
