“Fengshui” literally means “wind” and “water” — the former refers to energy and atmosphere, while the latter refers to mobility and changes.
What are the principles of Feng Shui then? Like all great truths, it is simple and straightforward. Most people think we are affected by feng shui, but they don’t know that we in turn can change feng shui.
What is the core of feng shui? People.
What is the No. 1 realm of people’s feng shui? The heart.
What is the No. 2 realm of people’s feng shui? The mouth.
What is the No. 3 realm of people’s feng shui? The act.
Be grateful. Think of doing good for others. Doing so gathers the positive “yang” energy, which naturally manifests on your face as a smile. A smiling face takes the shape of an ingot, and wealth for sure will follow.
Complaining, being jealous, or being hateful gathers the negative “yin” energy, which manifests on you as a sour face. Who wants to look at and interact with sour-faced people? Nobody! That explains why the bad luck of bitter-looking people is not without good cause.
Feng shui starts with being filial and respectful to your ancestors. The deeper the act becomes rooted and the longer the generations pass on, the stronger and leafier the family tree will grow.
With your career blooming, your family thriving, and your guardian angels watching, life can only be on a one-way track to prosperity.
For someone who has no filial piety, he will never be in a high-level job because he will not respect his superiors, colleagues, or people around him. His life and work will not be smooth. He is doomed to setbacks.
Feng shui is when blessed people live in a blessed environment. When you are a blessed person, where you live must be a blessed place. Even if it is not, it will become so because your presence will make it so.
To make feng shui work for you, start with changing yourself. When you are changed, your heart will change, your surroundings, and your fortune will also change for the better.
The more you give, the more rewards you will receive.
The more grateful you are, the less bumpy your life will be.
The more you help others, the more guardian angels will come your way.
The more you complain, the more messed up your life will become.
The more content you are, the more happiness you will find.
The more you escape, the more failures you will face.
The more you share, the more friends you will find.
The more often you get angry, the more often you will get sick.
The more money you give, the more wealth you will gather.
The more you indulge in enjoyment, the more often you will suffer pain.
The more you learn, the wiser you will get.
The more you take advantage of others, the poorer you will become.
