MANILA, Philippines – Willie Revillame has hinted about a certain talent manager whom he claims he previously helped but is now criticizing him.

On the February 8 episode of Wowowin aired on AllTV, the TV host lamented how his critics and detractors continue to label him as arrogant. He said he doesn’t mind because he knows he’s just telling the truth. He said that while other people have judged him and expressed their opinions about his personality, he doesn’t care as long as the people close to him know the truth.
He said, “Etong sinasabi ko sa inyong lahat ay totoo po ito. Tsaka alam niyo, nayayabangan kayo sa nagsasabi ng totoo? Dapat nga matuwa kayo kasi nagsasabi ako ng totoo. I’m sure iba-bash na naman ako bukas, ok lang. Welcome ang lahat, kung anong gusto niyong sabihin sa pagkatao ko na ‘walang hiya, mayabang ka, walang kwentang tao ‘yan,’ ok lang ho, tanggap ko na iyan.”
“Sabihin niyo na ang gusto niyo, basta alam ng aking mga kasama, alam ng mga staff ko, ng mga kaibigan ko, alam lahat ng mga taong nakakasama ko, ang tunay na pagkatao ko,” he added.
Willie went on to thank those who continue to support him and take his side. At one point, he mentioned a certain TV reporter and manager who had been left behind by his talents.
“Meron namang isang reporter na may hawak na mga artista na inalisan na siya. Bakit siya inalisan? ‘Yang ang tanong diyan,” he alluded.
He remembered how, years ago, he had assisted this particular talent manager in promoting one of his “talents” or an artist on Wowowin. Now, the artist is a very popular noontime show host.
“Noong Wowowee days, nilapit niya sa akin yung isang talent niya na tulungan. Sa backstage, may concert sa Laffline, palabasin ko siya. Ngayon, sikat na sikat na siya ngayon sa isang noontime show. Totoo yun, kahit tanungin niyo pa siya kung ilang beses siya pumunta ng backstage ng Wowowin para magpromote. Hawak niya rin dati ‘yun, nawala na rin sa kanya ‘yun,” Willie revealed.
According to Willie, despite his efforts to help, this manager now frequently criticizes him on his vlog. He challenged the audience to decide whether to believe him or this manager. He complained about how this manager seems to always meddle with the lives of celebrities as if he owns them.
“Ano ba ang nagawa niya sa ating mga kababayan? Nagpunta ba ‘yan sa mga bagyo? Nagbigay ba ng tulong ‘yan? Ano bang ginawa niyan? At bakit yang taong yan, walang ginawa kundi ay parang pinapakialam niya ang buhay ng mga artista. Kala mo, hawak niya kami,” he added.
Willie also spoke of a celebrity whose family he had assisted when that man got married in Tagaytay. Now, that man speaks ill of him on social media as if he didn’t help them.
The TV host appealed that he be left out of any talks about politics. He said it’s not his nature to meddle in politics, and he’s a simple man who only wants to help others in need.
“Huwag niyo akong idamay sa pulitika. Hindi akong pulitikong tao. Ako po’y nandito, simple lang. Nagpapasaya lang, eto lang ang alam kong gawin,” he added.
Earlier, Ogie Diaz was among the personalities who posted a cryptic tweet following Willie’s earlier appeal to viewers to support AllTV. Even without dropping a name, all of the comments on the talent manager’s tweet were quick to understand that his tweet seemed to allude to Willie. Ogie’s tweet goes, “Wag umiyak. Kung nung araw na kailangan ang luha ng pagdamay mo ay hindi rin naman naramdaman. Bagkus nakitawa ka pa. Kaya wag mamalimos ng simpatya. Kaya mo yan. Wala kang di kinaya.”

Following Willie's latest outburst, fans immediately assumed that the host was making reference to Ogie and his former talent, Vice Ganda. A netizen tweeted, “Mama O parang ikaw ata tong pinaparinggan ni kuya wil ehh. Ichika mo nga dali.”

Another netizen also told Ogie, “Pag-inassist ka pala niya, ‘di ka na pwede mgsalita ng nasa isip at damdamin mo na kakaiba sa opinion niya or gusto niya? Parang binili na niya yung pgkatao mo ganun ba un?”

Cristy Fermin previously revealed that Willie apologized to her for allegedly making snide remarks about her and Ogie, saying they owed him gratitude. Willie’s rant all began when reports broke out that several AllTV shows would be suspended from airing.
