MANILA, Philippines – Reports are circulating that Pilipinas Got Talent's first grand champion, Jovit Baldivino, is in a hospital after collapsing while partying in Batangas City on Sunday, December 4.

A friend of the singer shared updates that the 29-year-old singer has undergone surgery and was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Jesus of Nazareth Hospital on Monday, December 5.
According to reports, a nerve in the singer's head ruptured, possibly due to aneurysm.
The Baldivino family refused to give their official statement on the incident and requested privacy.

During the 2022 presidential campaign, the singer performed at the grand rally of presidential candidate Senator Manny Pacquiao in Dumaguete. He also held a birthday concert on October 16, where he sang some of his favorite Air Supply songs.
Meanwhile, Jovit came under fire when his ex-girlfriend Shara Cruzat revealed in 2021 that the singer had neglected his responsibilities to their child while pursuing custody. She even claimed that the singer allegedly "scammed" a fan in order to obtain money, which Jovit denied. Jovit defended himself, saying that he was not an irresponsible father and that the Lord knows that he didn’t do anything wrong against them.
