The Defense Ministry approved a plan to buy around 120 Pralay Ballistic Missiles on December 25. These missiles will be placed along the borders with China and Pakistan.
Surface-to-surface short-range Ballistic Missiles (SRBM) are what Pralay ballistic missiles are. They were made for use on the battlefield. Ballistic missiles that can be used tactically are owned by both China and Pakistan.

At the moment, the Pralay ballistic missiles can hit targets 150–500 km away. With interceptor missiles, it is very hard for the enemy to get around.
Pralay, which means “Apocalypse,” is a tactical, surface-to-surface, short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) for use on the battlefield that is packed in a canister (DRDO). The missile is being improved and that the forces can greatly increase its range if they want to.
The work on the missile system began around 2015, and the late Gen. Bipin Rawat, who was Chief of Army Staff at the time, gave it a push.
It was tested twice in a row last year, on December 21 and December 22, and both times it went well.
The missile guidance system has navigation and avionics that are up-to-date.
In the report, it was also said that the missile would be used first by the Indian Air Force and then, most likely, by the Indian Army.
