The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam invites applications for the recruitment of 2,000 vacancies for a number of posts in the police department. The process of Application has already begun on June 15th and will last on June 30. Candidates can apply a bid for those several posts for a stenographer, data entry operator, typist, peon and other several posts of foreigner’s tribunal under the Assam government at the official website of SLPRB Assam. All the above posts will be appointed on a contractual basis for two consecutive years, and eventually refilled on an annual basis with a fixed amount.

SLPRB 2019 eligibility:
- To apply the posts like UDA-cum-Accountant, Stenographer, lower division assistant, typist the aspirant must be a graduate from any recognised university or college.
- For the post of data entry operator, copyist and office peon, chowkidar the aspirant must have passed out intermediate exam and class 8th exam respectively.
- If a candidate has passed the 12th exam then he is not eligible for the post of office peon and chowkidar.

- The form for the exam is free of cost and the mode of filling application is online mode.
- The two websites where a candidate can fil the forms are police.assam.gov.in and slprbassam.in.
- The last date to fill and register the form is June 30.

SLPRB 2019 requirement to fill the application:
- Candidate must have a valid mobile no.
- Photograph and signature is in JPG format.
- HSLC admit card is needed as age proof
- The birth certificate must be uploaded in JPG format.
- Graduation or pass certificate must be uploaded in JPG format.
- Caste certificate also needs to upload for OBC/MOBC, SC or ST candidates.
- A minimum of 6-month experience certificate in A/C must be uploaded.
- Diploma/certificate of proficiency in computer need to upload.
- Diploma/certificate in stenography for Polytechnic6/ ITI need to upload.
- After completion of the application form, an application ID will generate. The candidate needs to keep the application ID for further use.
SLPRB 2019 Salary: An amount of Rs 35,000 will be the salary of an accountant, stenographer. Lower Division Assistant, bench assistant and typist will get an amount of Rs 30,000. The data entry operator’s salary will be Rs 10,000. Last but not least the copyist, office peon and chowkidar will get Rs 9,000.
