Writer director Prabhat Kumar graced the special screening of his forthcoming Movie, ,Back To Dad, here in Mumbai. During his media interaction, filmmaker stated that his movie has passed the screening test and now he is motivated to take bigger risks.
Filmmaker Prabhat Kumar along with entire cast and crew, and eminent Bollywood personalities was spotted at the special screening of heart-warming tale “Back To Dad”.
Talking about the response for the film, Prabhat expressed, “As you all know that Johnny Lever has praised my movie, but this is my first movie, so I am little apprehensive and scared. I am feeling exactly like student right now before the exam results. But now that the movie is getting good word and praises, I think I have passed the test.
Everyone has praised the movie, especially about the directions and songs of the film. As far as casting is concerned, we had all the newcomers and yet we managed to get good words, I think it is a huge achievement”
Veteran comic Actor Johnny Lever praised the film for its unique story and direction. Further talking about the conceptualization of the film, director Prabhat expressed that the movie is straight from his heart and ever loving Dad.
“The idea of the film came from heart and dad. I am sure every household has the same story, a dad raises a child and teaches him and the kid learns and listens, but when kid is all grown up, he gets smarter than his dad. Than the child doesn’t listen to his dad, he listens to his heart” said Prabhat.
Prabhat also highlighted the fact that here Dad is not just a father figure; it’s the ever loving and caring almighty God. He said, “Here the connection of Dad is to the spiritual father, our God. Whoever that might be, because God is one. It is connected to God, as he guides everyone and he resides in our hearts. So that ‘God’ is referred to ‘Dad’ here”
Veteran actor Ram Sethi appreciated the film’s cast and crew and said, “It is a well finished and very well made film. The film’s ending sums up the story beautifully. In spite of being newcomers, the actors have done a commendable job. Director Prabhat has executed the main theme of the film quite ably. Unlike my expectation, the film didn’t just touch my heart or influenced my emotions but also conveyed a great message.”
Prabhat Kumar is all geared to take his next on floors soon. He said, “I am working on something, which I cannot discuss right now. But very soon we will go on floors and I will make the official announcement”
‘Back to Dad’ features music by Shaan, singer Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Das and Kunaal Ganjawala.
Directed by Prabhat Kumar and produced by Anup Gadal, ‘Back to Dad’ stars, Massom Singh and Kalpana Sharma as the lead and Tikam Sharma as the father.
