Well, he had to say something and he damn well couldn’t say, “yea we colluded with the Russian Government, to rig the election and degrade our nation's democracy” hell the hillbillies might even catch on then. Every day the drama unfolds more revealing a corrupt president.
Mobsters hell yes! It shouldn't surprise anyone this president has been making shady deals in back allies of the Trump Tower with mobsters. Vicious deals that only benefit the president himself. If Nixon were a werewolf as Doctors of Journalism suggested during that American Saga, then Trump is a Corinthian Lamia sucking the blood out of anything that could boost his television ratings, or make him a buck. The Corinthina Lamia grows his teeth when the mood arises to suck his victims dry. This demon feeds its every whim regardless of the consequence.

Even Nixon had more credibility at this point in Trump's presidency it took until 1/29/1973 four years into his presidency before America caught on to his antics and his approval rating dropped to 36% overnight. Trump is currently sitting pretty at 36% now and he just started. In an interview with Time Magazine Trump proclaimed he would beat Nixon in getting on more magazine covers; after lying about currently holding the record exclaiming “I’ll Win”. Good god man, he might actually be striving to be more corrupt!
Well he’s currently on track to win that race and if he does the consequences will be similar to his hero Nixon. Ties have been connected to the Russian Mob, not a Big Mac dripping with sauce Sure, but important nonetheless.

Nunes who ran over to the President providing information on the investigation of the ties to Russia has been recently accused of a cover up by Swalwell who also serves on the House Intelligence Committee. Nunes isn’t even providing the information requested to other members involved in the investigation. Cover-up? Well hell yes it is!
Any two-bit criminal knows it’s a clear cover-up and not a very good one at that. The Republicans have to keep approval numbers stagnate just until they can repeal any social security allotted to any shell of a man making less than 500,000 a year for Social Darwinism to take full effect. It’s a sick mentality to want modern times to retrogress so the poor live to die, and the rich have it all. Although, this seems to be the American Dream now where all tacos are judged by its price instead of quality. Did I say tacos, maybe I meant people, who knows?
Trump simply ran utilizing the Nixon-Strategy of standing up for the silent majority of America, law and order coupled with justice, and attacking the media at every turn. Why would a man use this strategy? The inability of both men to tell the truth causes one to attack the media. The silent majority of America is referring to the racist and other nasty personal traits that many individuals still hold. Law and Order always excites the self-righteous just waiting to throw some half guilty nut into the big house. Justice is what these bastards deserve for trying to be part of a society that’s only interest is in protecting the few.
The Few. These uninformed saps believe they are part of the few, and they vote for promises that make them feel good. Pat Buchanan told national television at the last Republican Convention that facts don’t matter because its feelings in the political arena that get the lever pulled and that’s the truth. This incident of truth came in the throes of a senile rant, but it's one of the only times pure truth has been proclaimed from Pat.
The human brain doesn’t think about politics in the relational sphere but the emotional sphere. Everything is filtered through personal convictions, opposing views are literally an attack to the individual's personal values, and this is the political algorithm of the human brain. This ugly fact is scary. When history is pondered upon humans have committed more atrocities than comprehensible, and all under the impression their personal convictions were correct no matter how grotesques they really were.
Now the time has come and the Senate is taking control of the Russian investigations, with the House putting theirs on hold due to unashamed malfeasance. It will take years for congress, the FBI, and the justice department to get to the bottom of this.
Hopefully, there is a Woodward and Bernstein in the shadows; journalism is the only thing that can save us now.
