Shares of Idea Cellular Limited in focus: Idea Cellular reported consolidated net loss of Rs 327.70 Cr in Q4 March 2017, versus with net profit of Rs 451.70 Cr, in the corresponding period last year. Revenue out of operations declined 14.26% to Rs 8126.10 Cr, in Q4 March 2017 Y-O- Y. The result was unveiled on Saturday, 13 May 2017.

Further, a number of major companies are posting their quarterly results in this week, in which Bata India Ltd and Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd are announcing their results today. Subsequently, Shree Cement Ltd, Tata Steel and PNB will announce their results tomorrow, 16 May 2017. Hindustan Unilever Ltd and JSW Steel is announcing their results on Wednesday 17 May 2017. Bajaj Auto Ltd and Bank of Baroda will announce the results on Thursday, 18 May 2017, while Grasim Industries, Tata Power and SBI are scheduled to declare results on 19 May 2017.

At 12:05 IST, the BSE Sensex, was up 152.44 points at 30,340.59. The NSE Nifty50 was up 45.30 points at 9,446.20. mainly higher Asian stocks elevated the sentiment on the Exchanges. Gains were led by ICICI Bank, HDFC and ITC.
