It is heart-warming to note with joy the level of implicit confidence reposed on the cerebral and quintessential lawyer of repute Paul Usoro SAN, by a vast majority of the lawyers across boards, breaking barriers of zoning, adoption and other anti-democratic tendencies that crept into that election and opted for the man whose legal practice has positively imparted various spectrum of the Nigerian society.

To lead the Nigerian Bar at this time, obviously requires a man of courage, integrity and excellence to drive the process of reforming the NBA to meet the yearnings and aspirations of its members, who earnest require a bar that can stand up for them in times of need and be a voice against terror and all anti democratic forces that plague our nation state.

Whilst we rejoice and congratulate you, we pray and wish that you would bring to bear on this office, your vast experience of pioneering reforms in critical sector of the nation’s economy cum legal community, in reforming the NBA towards becoming an association which brings the greatest happiness to the greatest numbers of its members and a voice for an egalitarian and just society.
