The 30-share BSE Sensex closed high 118.92 points or 0.41 percent at 29045.28, it was touched a high Of 29,077.28 and touch a low of 28,854.56.
The 50-share NSE Nifty index gained 34.55 points or 0.39 percent at 8952.50, it was touched a high of 8,960.35 and touch a low of 8.896.00. Nifty today ends fresh 18-month closing high of 8,952.50.
The BSE Midcap index up 0.15 percent at 13,479.37 and The BSE Smallcap index up 0.83 percent at 12,922.41.
