The Spa is destined to appeal to a high end and leisure clientele. Hello Kitty Beauty Spa is poised to transform the face of beauty and pampering. The Beauty Spa is themed and designed on the famous Japanese character ‘Hello Kitty’ and specially designed for ‘Queens’ and their little ‘Princesses’ who demand nothing less than posh pampering. In a short span of months, Hello Kitty Beauty Spa has over 200 frequent international customers.

Hello Kitty Beauty Spa has two types of product range, the regular and natural Hello Kitty Beauty products. Hello Kitty Beauty Spa services include Kitty nails, facials, hair and make-up. The Spa offers a separate service menu for ‘Queen’ and ‘Princesses’, offering all natural nail and beauty products for young girls. Hello Kitty Beauty Spa menu also includes beauty packages for an all-day posh pampering experience. Complementing this habitat of creativity, are the stylists and therapists. Each having extensive background and proven track record in their field, they continue to research and practice new styles and technicalities in hair, nails and styling.

Hello Kitty Beauty Spa set up has been designed keeping in mind the ‘vintage girly look’. Upon entering the minimalist reception with a display of all the best Hello Kitty goodies, the area features classy white chairs with background of Hello Kitty face outline; the large red silk bow in the background just takes your breath away. With privacy as an important factor, beautiful white drapes divide the reception area from the service floor.

Hello Kitty Beauty Spa entered the market back in 2012 in Town Centre, Jumeirah, Dubai.

At the moment Hello Kitty Beauty Spa has 2 operating spas in Dubai, 1 in Abu Dhabi, 1 in Kuwait and 1 in Bahrain.

Hello Kitty Beauty Spa serves multicultural middle to high-end income customers. The size of a typical Hello Kitty Beauty Spa is between 180 sq.meter and 300 sq.meter with a customer flow of 30 to 40 customers per day.

Support Programs

In addition to field support, members of Hello Kitty Beauty Spa organization will provide the services listed below:

  • Operational Support — Hello Kitty Beauty Spa Management will provide ongoing training and support in many areas critical to the success of the franchisee’s business, including unit operations and maintenance, customer-service techniques, product ordering, suggested pricing guidelines, and administrative procedures.
  • Site Selection — Prior to approving a site for Hello Kitty Beauty Spa outlet, Hello Kitty Beauty Spa Management will provide franchisees with clear guidelines for a suitable location. Hello Kitty Beauty Spa will require franchisees to follow these instructions to ensure that an appropriate site is located.
  • Marketing Support — Hello Kitty Beauty Spa Management coordinates development of advertising materials and strategies for the benefit of all members of the franchise network. It should also supply franchisees with consumer marketing plans and materials for use at the local or regional level, and retains the right to approve all local advertising materials that the franchisee chooses to develop.
  • Accounting/Audit/Legal — Reporting directly to administration, this department is responsible for the financial and legal oversight of franchisees.
  • Ongoing Research and Development — Hello Kitty Beauty Spa Management continues to research methods and techniques for franchise operations (including purchasing and promotional schemes) that enhance unit-level profitability.
  • Overall Program Oversight — Hello Kitty Beauty Spa Management provides the overall coordination and planning for the Hello Kitty Beauty Spa franchise system.
Franchising Services

We have developed a series of services to ensure a smooth management and operation of the Hello Kitty Beauty Spa.

  • License to use the Hello Kitty Beauty Spa trademarks and trade dress in the franchised territory
  • License to the use of the Hello Kitty Beauty Spa marketing and operational systems
  • Assistance in the location selection
  • Construction specifications
  • Assistance in the construction of the franchised unit
  • Supply of equipment and furniture for the franchise unit (if required & depending on locations)
  • Assistance in the pre-operational stage
  • Training to the franchisee’s staff

Franchise Training Program

Initial assistance provided by Hello Kitty Beauty Spa will include the following franchisee training programs:

Hello Kitty Beauty Spa Management will provide franchisees with approximately 5 to 7 days of initial training at Hello Kitty Beauty Spa headquarters or at a location designated by the Hello Kitty Beauty Spa Management, beginning approximately 6 to 9 weeks before the franchisee is scheduled to open for business

Phase I — Instruction will pertain to administrative, operational, and sales/marketing matters; it will also include a liberal amount of on-the-job training.  This training will be provided for the franchisee and three (3) to Four (4) designated attendees.

Phase II — On-site training typically takes place when the franchisee commences operations.  Experienced trainers from Hello Kitty Beauty Spa will provide on-site training for a period of 14 to 19 days to assist the franchisee in the commencement of operations.

Franchise Agreement Duration

The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is 5 years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for four additional terms of five years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.

An Initial franchise fee of USD 30,000 for an individual unit.

Royalty Fee

The continuing services, or “royalty fee,” is 7% of your gross sales and is paid monthly.  This fee entitles you to use the Hello Kitty Beauty Spa service mark, use of distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and other benefits that come with being an Hello Kitty Beauty Spa franchisee.

Advertising & Marketing Fee

The Hello Kitty Beauty Spa name and reputation is an important part of our business.  You will spend at least 2% of your gross sales per month on local advertising.  In addition, if we should establish fees for a Marketing Fund, you will be expected to make Marketing Fund contributions of up to 1% of your monthly gross sales.
