Capital Smart City Islamabad is a new project launched by Future Development Holdings Pvt. Limited in order to help cater with the increased residential need of the twin cities. It is a unique housing plan, neighboring Islamabad Motorway (M2) exit, on a 5 minutes drive from the New Islamabad International Airport, and with a distance of 22 min drive from the centers of both Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
All NOCs have been approved by the concerned authorities and can be easily checked from Rawalpindi Development Authority. This Project is associated with Habib Rafiq Pvt. Ltd., partnered by FWO, and designed by Norman Foster Meinhardt Group Singapore.
This society is supposed to be located somewhere in between Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M2) exit and Chakri Road near Thalian Road linking the city with the currently under construction New Islamabad International Airport. Here we have a map for a clearer orientation:

The project, as it claims, is a “Model of Sustainable Development”, offering its benefits for all, the residents, the employees and the investors. It promises too much in too less, a world class infrastructure with facilities that only one could think of, a lifestyle unique then all others.
The smart features of Capital Smart City as stated on the Smart City website are as follows;

- CCTV cameras with high quality face detection capability,
- Electric Cycles for residents to move within the city.
Payments and Investments:
The brochure details the plans Capital Smart City has to offer, on residential and commercial basis. Measured spaces of 5 to 10 marlas for residential clients, whereas the plots for constructing farmhouses vary from 20, 10 and 5 kanal.
