Wire Room: A room or establishment where bookmaking is carried on under cover of legitimate business
.
Could Kevin Dillon look any more clueless, and could Bruce Willis look any more old and grumpy? But at least he's been out drinking, and the case hasn't been going too well the past year, so there's something. It explains his case. It excuses their clumsiness.
The main character doesn't exactly come across as the most competent, the action's not amazing, and the script's not the best, but somehow you still get drawn in. And when Kevin's alone in the room he does get considerably more confident and charismatic.
They found a good villain too.
It's not blockbuster level this movie, but it's not all bad either.
It's just a shame to see Willis in this kind of shape. The last steps in his legacy... not the highest ones.
rated 3/5: not bad
