It's another zombie apocalypse! Generic, dark, standard... was what I thought.
Turns out it wasn't as stereotypical as I thought it would be at all. It was a bit like I Am Legend, but instead of just the one guy there's two, and one of them has a daughter, and both of them loved the same woman... and one of them killed her.
It's trippy, dark, yet hopeful in the unknowing eyes of the little girl. The setting is somber, snowy and lonely, and the isolation plays with their minds, though there are monsters too, though not the hordes of brainless zombies you might expect. It's a refreshingly different dystopia, and a good movie, albeit not a very uplifting one.rated 3/5: not bad
