I remembered this as the sad one, but you know what? It's not hopeless after all. It's fortunate.

It's a Story of a band of orphans who did all to complete their missions. It's a story of deceit, and of the warm embrace of death... but maybe not as you'd expect it.

There's a little bit of a magic mixed in with the desert dunes and fireworks. An epic story from an age old time and a dream for heroes.

The fights might not be all natural, not Donnie Yen's MMA-like style with which he shines, but there's nothing wrong with a little blade work now and then too, and in the end it's a good movie. One of dynasty and emperors, but with a bit more focus on the quest and the relations along the way.

The special effects stood the test of time too.
