PC TuneUp Maestro is also supposedly meant to fix errors, provide assistance with the opening of unknown file formats and guarantee the stability of your whole computer. Unfortunately, this PUP cannot achieve any of the promised features. It uses various tricks to mislead you into purchasing its ‘full version’, which is equally unreliable as the free one. Once this questionable program enters, it will start displaying fabricated scans. Even if your Windows is freshly installed, the process will end up with tons of errors, suspicious files or potentially malicious applications. This manipulated scan may make you assume your PC is in a terrible condition. If you click on the green ‘Clean now’ button, it will only redirect you to the purchase page. The license of PC TuneUp Maestro costs $30 or €26, depending on your location. You should not agree to pay because you will receive nothing for your money. However, the manipulated scans and errors may cease to appear, so some PC users may feel as if PC TuneUp Maestro helped them. After a few months, you may be charged again automatically. When you take in mind this application is a PUP, it may not be a good idea to share your credit card details with its developers. The official page of PC TuneUp Maestro contains the ‘Microsoft’ logo to seem trustworthy, but this software is not associated with the company behind Windows in any way. The questionable application doesn’t appear in the Control Panel, so you should use a legit and powerful security tool to eliminate it.
