Evita Robinson has numerous passport stamps, so many that the avid traveler had to get pages added to her current booklet. Each stamp symbolizes a new journey the almost 30-year-old travelista has been on, but there’s one location that stands out most for her: Barcelona.

When reflecting on true paradise, Robinson’s mind spans to the grittiness, diversity, art and overall vibe of Spain’s second largest city. She can do without the typical vacation locales, you know, the Maldives, Bora Bora and the like.

“I can’t do those places for more than like maybe a week or two weeks. I’m gonna get bored,” said the adventurous millennial. She fell in love with Barcelona on a Nomadness Travel Tribe excursion last July and instantly knew it was her version of utopia.

“I was like, I feel like I’m in Brooklyn on one block; I walk 10 minutes and I feel like I’m in Miami,” said Robinson. “This is amazing!”

Robinson has plans to own property in Barcelona, which she calls one of her 3Bs. The other two include Brooklyn, a borough not far from where she resides, which also happens to start with a B (the Bronx), and Indonesia’s smallest province, Bali. “Those are three of my favorite places on the face of the planet,” said Robinson, as she reflected on times spent at each location.

She plans to make Barcelona her place where people will still be able to find her, but Bali will be her getaway spot. Of all the places both nationally and internationally, Evie believes Barcelona best matches her personality.

This year, the Tribe will participate in San Fermin (Running of the Bulls) for a third year, but this time in Barcelona. Robinson gushes about what’s in store for the trip, but, more so, she’s happy to return to her home away from home.

For some, travel is reserved for certain seasons, designated for specific areas of the globe and thought to be exclusive to a particular demographic. But for Evita Robinson, it’s just a way of life.
