Amazon India, the subsidiary of the world’s largest online retailer Amazon has emerged as the most Trusted Online Shopping brand in India according to a survey. Amazon beats the home grown companies Snapdeal and Flipkart in the trust factor, both of these followed Amazon respectively.

It is no surprise that Amazon has emerged as the most trusted brand because Amazon has the most buyer friendly policies when it comes to returns and replacement policies. The other brands in the list of top 10 most Trusted Online shopping brands include Ebay, Mytra, Yepme, Jabong, Naaptol, Shopclues and Askmebazaar.
The report is issued annually by TRA (formerly Trust Research Advisory). The survey was conducted among 2500 respondents aged 21-50, across 16 cities in India and its results were compiled in the Brand Trust Report, India Study 2016.
Amazon India is the most trusted Online Shopping brand with 36 percent of the trust pie, combined with Snapdeal and Flipkart these three account for 76 percent.
Overall most trusted brand in India is Samsung., the top five most trusted brands include Samsung Mobiles, Sony, LG, Nokia and Tata. It is good to see TATA in the list of top five most trusted brands.
