Dive onto indigenous culture at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park or take the historic Kuranda Rail up to the village in the rainforest. You’ll pass Barron Falls on the way, before floating back down the mountain via Skyrail.

ATHERTON TABLELANDS & DAINTREE RAINFOREST
A short trip from Cairns city centre, this is one for the ages…literally. One of the world’s oldest rainforests, this tropical wonderland is full of unique plants and animal species that you need to see, and hear, to believe. Swim under Millaa Millaa Falls, or trail through geological wonders like the Chillagoe Caves and lava tubes of Etheridge Shire.

GREAT BARRIER REEF
Whether you cruise, sail or fly out from the mainland, the Great Barrier Reef is set to stun. Snorkel and dive the coral reefs to discover a colourful new world below the surface. Try to coincide your trip with coral spawning during November – December for the chance to witness new life across the world’s largest coral reef.

FRASER ISLAND
