In accordance to this data breach, recently Britain Police has arrested second teenager boy.
Numbers of Arrest have been carried out:
First, by Monday a 15-year-old boy was arrested from County Antrim, Northern Ireland. He was said to be connected with TalkTalk data breach.
Secondly, by Thursday a 16-year-old boy was arrested from Felthan, West London. He was also said to be suspected under Computer Misuse Act Offences. Until now, identity of this 16-year old has not yet been revealed and was arrested by MPCCU – Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Unit.

Through this major data breach t TalkTalk millions of TalkTalk customers’ personal details including bank details, PII – Personally Identifiable Information was stolen as well as following details have been compromised:
- More than 21,000 Bank Accounts Details
- Approx 28,000 obscured Credit and Debit Card Details
- Approx 15,000 Customer’s Date of Birth
- More than 1.2 Million Customer’s Names, E-Mail Addresses, Phone Numbers etc. Details
“Investigations so far show that the information that may have been accessed is not enough on its own to take money from your bank account”, and added “Starting today, we are writing to all customers who have been affected by this to let them know what information has been accessed.”
And all of the affected TalkTalk customers are advised to change their passwords as soon as possible as well as keep an eye on their back accounts for few months and if they found any suspicious activities, then report it to the authorities.
