Telecommunications provider, Gvtc Communications is continuing with the expansion of its fiber gigabit services in Boerne, TX. By 2017, the operator expects to have the services available to nearly 5,000 residential and business subscribers at a cost of about $1.8 million. With the planned expansion, about 1,600 housesholds are expected to be connected with Internet speeds of up to 1 Gbps with an additional offering of symmetrical speeds of up to 100 Mbps for some consumers.
