TruVizion and Remote Spectrum products impress judges and score high in the annual cable technology rankings.
Alpharetta, GA (September 20, 2016) — ZCorum, a leader in diagnostics tools for broadband providers, announced that TruVizion and Remote Spectrum have received 4 Diamonds out of 5 in BTR’s 2016 Diamond Technology Reviews. The BTR award program recognizes top products and solutions available to the cable industry. The submissions are rigorously judged by a third-party panel of cable telecommunications engineering experts, including Engineering executives from Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Suddenlink Communications, Comcast, Charter and Cox. Criteria included unique technology or application thereof, innovation, ease of use, efficiency, reliability, and contribution to profitability.
Judges had this to say about Remote Spectrum, “ZCorum is doing a great job leveraging full spectrum capture. This product will save extensive troubleshooting time for operators and reduce test equipment costs, two big desires of every operator.”
Judges who looked at TruVizion commented on how the application takes full advantage of the status and performance information that network elements can provide the operator, especially those in the customer premises. “TruVizion deserves a very close look for those seeking improved network availability and better information to use in customer call-in responses. It takes a well-developed application approach that’s needed to make key decisions and to cut customer outages to a minimum. Of particular note is the ability to use trending data over time, data from nearby equipment on the same portion of the network and the Wi-Fi network within the customer premises.
