After the OS update to "MacOS Sierra" Facebook Videos were playing without any sound on Apple Macbook Pro. Youtube was working fine without any issues. Below steps helped me to fix the issue.
2) Play the video.
3) Hover on the tab. A speaker button should appear. Please note that this button will be enabled only after playing the video.
4) Click on that to Unmute.
This should fix the problem.
