We can already know how the sales of smartwatches have gone worldwide in this penultimate quarter of the year. The Q3 2022 report offered by Counterpoint (a faithful and accurate organization when it comes to investigating the movement of the global technology market), shows incredible news for smart watches. After all, there has been a significant increase so far this year , benefiting several companies in the process.

In contrast to the past, where smartwatches were not the preferred purchasing devices, now the market accepts them with good spirits. So much so, that sales have increased by more than 30% since the beginning of 2022 , with Apple leading the highest category devices and Indian companies with modest models.

Apple remains in the lead in the smartwatch market with no competition to worry about

Clearly, Apple has been able to charm the high-end smartwatch market this year, taking 50.6% of total sales worldwide . Other companies like Samsung, Amazfit, Huawei and Garmin follow with much more modest amounts.

However, Counterpoint’s report is not unique. This divided the sales of smartwatches into two groups: the high-end models and those that are medium and low range. For the second, it is not the apple company that leads, but the Indian companies .

In this segment, Noise stands in first place with 25% of global purchases . It is closely followed by Fire-boltt with 24% of sales, followed by boAt, Xiaomi and finally the Huawei brand. It should be noted that the Noise company comes from India, and this year it has grown 171% in the smartwatch market.

In fact, Noise is currently in third place in the ranking of smartwatches , closely following in the footsteps of veteran companies Apple and Samsung. It may be a good idea to start thinking about a smartwatch model now that they are rising in popularity. Knowing that you can even have a mobile replacement on your wrist and leave it at home, it is not surprising that its ease is partly what attracts consumers.
