Browse Privately with Internet Explorer 8

The Inprivate Browsing feature of Internet Explorer 8 helps you browse the Internet without the fear of someone else finding about your personal information or online transactions. It prevents your browser from retaining your browsing history, temporary Internet files, form data, cookies and usernames and passwords; thereby leaving no evidence of your browsing or search history.
You can start using InPrivate Browsing when you download the all new IE8. Click here to download now.
How to Use
Garima wanted to order a gift for her best friend who recently moved to Singapore. However, as usual, she was wary of using her credit card to buy the gift on a shared computer in the café. Having heard from her friend about IE8’s super cool security features, she requested the Icafé owner to download the new IE8 browser on the machine she was using.
Garima started InPrivate Browsing by opening a new tab and selecting Browse with ‘InPrivate’ (it can also be selected from the Safety button on the top right corner of the browser window). Once this was done, Internet Explorer 8 launched a new browser session that won't record any information about her browsing, including searches or webpage visits.
Garima was now confident of her privacy on the shared computer. She ordered flowers and a book that her friend had been wanting to read from an E-commerce site. She also logged on to her bank’s site to check her balance and pay her credit card bill. She enjoyed browsing the websites of her choice without any worries. To end her InPrivate Browsing session, she simply closed the browser window. So next time when you too visit an Internet Café or use a shared computer, don’t forget to turn on InPrivate Browsing on your Internet Explorer 8 - surf the web safely & with confidence
