Sorry, I couldn't resist!!

I hope you don't mind that I've added a bit of festive cheer to the site already. It's just that i'm slowly getting into the festive mood so I thought i'd drag you all in as well. What's more, the Decemember newsletter will be going out this week which will also be jazzed up in xmas attire!

Anyway, what else has been happening in the world of BritList?

We have now officially uploaded all the new meta tags etc to the site so we hope to see an increase in visitors through search engines - it takes a little while to kick in but should be worth it.

We've also been working on a few other things behind the scenes. We've heard from a few customers who have been approached by scam artists so we've set up a number of means to prevent them from doing so.

In case you're not aware, the scam is to offer customers more money than an item is worth, they'll post you a cheque for this inflated amount and ask for the difference to be paid back. The initial cheque will bounce leaving the seller out of pocket.

Please don't fall for this guys - I hate to say it but if something sounds too good to be true then it more than likely is!

On a slightly more positive note, we are working on ideas to give the site more of a community feel, some of these should be implemented shortly so watch this space.
