The next action movie Singham Again (also known as Singham 3) will be directed by Rohit Shetty in Hindi. Rohit Shetty Picturez is co-producing the movie along Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Devgn Films. Acting in the movie are Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Ajay Devgn. It is a follow-up to Singham Returns (2014) and the sixth episode in Shetty’s Cop Universe.

Under the working title Singham 3, the movie was first announced in September 2017. The actual title came out in December 2022. September 2023 saw the start of principal photography in Mumbai and Hyderabad. The film Singham Again is slated to open in theaters on August 15, 2024, which goes to be Independence Day.

Announcing the beginning of the shoot, the ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’ director took to Instagram and wrote: “‘Singham’, ‘Singham Returns’, ‘Simmba’, ‘Sooryavanshi’… 12 years ago, when we made ‘Singham’, we never thought that it would turn into a Cop Universe! Today, we begin filming Singham Again… the 5th film in our cop franchise.”

Beseeching the audience for their support, A post shared by Rohit Shetty, he concluded his post, writing: “Isme Hum Apni Jaan Laga Denge! Bas Aapke Pyaar Aur Dua Ki Zaroorat Hai!”.
