High Energy Heroes is getting ready for a global release in 2024

Tencent-owned studio Lightspeed is working on a global version of the Battle Royale game High Energy Heroes, which was launched in China in September this year. The game is a clone of Apex Legends Mobile, which was shut down by Electronic Arts in May. The global version could be released as early as 2024, according to internal sources.

Respawn Entertainment, owned by Electronic Arts and the creator of Apex Legends, may be responsible for publishing the global version of the game. It’s a bit curious, considering Electronic Arts canceled an original project to invest in a clone.
