It can be due to NSP that might have turned down your application at the state, district, or the institute level.

It can also happen due the fact that you have submitted the inaccurate or insufficient information or documentation or you have not qualified for the national scholarship.

• A verification Form
• Photograph
• Student’s Aadhar card number or bonafide student certificate from the school/institute
• Bonafide Student Certificate from School/Institute
• Student’s bank account number with the IFSC Code
• Residential/Domicile Certificate
• You need to upload a self-attested mark sheet to get scholarship under the MCM-based Scheme
• Fee Receipt of ‘Current Course Year
• Income Certificate issued by the competent authority in the State/UT Government
• A Self-Certified Community Certificate from the applicant attaining 18 years of age/others
• Community Certificate certified by parent/guardian

How to Check NSP Merit List 2023

Please adhere to the following instructions to verify your NSP Merit List 2023:

• First, you need to visit scholarships.gov.in to access the official website of National Scholarship Portal
• Next, click Scholarship Schemes Hosted by NSP for 2022-23 once you reach the homepage

• It will open a new page which will have all the information related to your application
• Next, select your academic year, study type, ministry, and the scheme’s specifics
• Next, enter the verification code and hit Submit to receive the NSP Merit List
• It will finally show the NSP Merit List for 2023 so that you can check your name in the list

If you see that your name doesn’t exist in the NSP Merit List, you can always check the official website. Once you visit the official website, you will come to know about the reasons of your rejection.
