SE Ranking will divulge several SEO metrics like page quality score, ranking, organic traffic forecast, and the number of referring domains.
SERP Analyzer also shows your direct competitors and the aforementioned metrics for each.

Our SE Ranking test wouldn't be complete without this feature. It works by letting you choose the search engine from Google and Google Mobile. Then, you'll adjust the country and the level of suggestion depth from 1 to 3.

SE Ranking came up with 15+ search queries that we could add to a project or export in CSV or XLS. What are these keywords for? Well, they're basically ideas that you can use in PPC and organic campaigns provided by Search Engine Autocomplete.
You can see that SE Ranking integrates with Google SEO tools pretty well and this Autocomplete function is more than handy. Needless to say, we used it extensively and in most cases, got sensible keyword suggestions except for a few rare occasions.

Search Volume CheckerAnother thing SE Ranking allows you to do is check the search volume of specific keywords per month. This will inevitably help you include higher-ranking keywords and ensure you're hitting the mark with your current keyword optimization.
We don't like that this feature is paid additionally. For example, each search query is $0.005, which doesn't sound much. But if you want to check, let's say, 100 keywords and then 200 or more down the line, the cost will rack up quickly.
Index Status CheckerWe love simple features like this, so we had to mention it in this SE Ranking test.
Is your page indexed by Google? Well, you can find that out through this feature.
This time, however, Google isn't the only search engine in play – Yahoo and Bing are there as well.
Simply select the search engine, paste the URL into the blank field, and select Submit. In a minute, SE Ranking will notify you if your chosen search engine indexed the page. Alas, the feature costs $0.005 per URL – again – so be prepared to shell out additional cash.

Moreover, SE Ranking will determine the content quality and advise improvements. You'll be able to see the questions that you can include and even take advantage of the AI Writer tool. Granted, it's not the best out there but it helps generate content in times of need.
We love that we can set the tone of writing and let this AI create new topics, paragraphs, FAQ sections, and so on. Heck, the feature can even expand your text if you aim for more words to rank better on various search engines.

Content Idea FinderHave no clue which topic to cover next? Use Content Idea Finder. Enter the keyword and choose the country you want to target. In a split second, SE Ranking will display dozens of content ideas based on the analyzed keyword.

Report BuilderThe Report Builder might not be everyone's bag of beans. Sure, if you're frequently creating reports and exporting them for whatever reason, you'll find it extremely useful. But if not, it's good to know it's there if you find it much-needed in the future.
This feature lets you customize your reports and create templates for them. Additionally, SE Ranking lets you schedule your reports and have them automatically delivered on specific days of the week. We like the option to create each type of report separately.

Ease of Use: SE Ranking InterfaceThroughout this SE Ranking review, you've seen numerous screenshots showing its interface. However, let us tell you more about its characteristics.
For one, it's snappy and responsive. Two, it's very easy to use. To be honest, there's nothing exquisite about it.

SE Ranking Review on Mobile DevicesSince we briefly mentioned Semrush, we want to state that SE Ranking offers better mobile support. Its app, at least on our Android phone, is phenomenal. Not only is it feature-rich but also smooth and premium. Which functions are available, you might ask?
Well, a whole lot. One of them is Website Audit, which, again, shows you errors and advises you on how to fix them. We also like the presence of the Keyword Tool, which lets you add a few keywords and check their search volume.
SE Ranking doesn't display as many parameters as its web version, so you'll have to rely mostly on keyword difficulty. The Rankings menu lets you see your website ranking in the country you selected based on the keywords – nothing new.
© SE RankingAlso, it seems like SE Ranking on mobile focuses on Marketing Tools and Local SEO as well. It includes the Business Listing feature while offering the Marketing Plan section where you can see your completed tasks for your website regarding marketing.
The app is a far cry from its desktop version but it's handy for performing basic tasks. Also, you can use its web version on iOS/Android but it's tedious. You'll have to pinch and zoom like crazy to see all the menus, settings, and metrics, so it's not our bag of beans.

Finally, we should address the 14-day free trial on SE Ranking along with the option to get a refund in the first 14 days if you're dissatisfied. That's why we prefer SE Ranking over Ahrefs, as the latter offers no refund policy – very disappointing indeed.
Customer Support: How to Get Help?SE Ranking has more than decent customer support. Users can enjoy its live chat service accessible at any moment. There's a chatbot that will greet you first, and then, you can request to be transferred to a support team agent.

SE Ranking supports advanced keyword research, site audits, and its famous AI-driven tools for improving content optimization and quality. Above all, it's intuitive, easy to use, and snappy, making the process of using it enjoyable.
The tool doesn't rely too much on its paid additions and even if you purchase the Essential plan, you'll find it satisfactory. Granted, the Pro plan is miles ahead and for our taste, the Essential plan could be a bit more topped up, especially in the number of subaccounts.
If you find some of the downsides we mentioned cardinal, an alternative to SE Ranking would be Semrush. That is if you don't mind paying at least 100% more for its cheapest plan.
