After months of limited visitor services due to a break in the North Rim water pipeline, the Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is finally reopening this Sunday, July 23. The lodge will offer lodging, food and beverage services, shower and laundry facilities just in time for the summer. According to the National Park Service, repairs to the water pipeline have been completed, and water conservation measures are no longer in effect. Although visitor services have been available since June 2, the full range of services will be restored starting this Sunday. The Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim operations, including the dining room, will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reservations are required for dinner service, so make sure to plan. The last day of the 2023 season for most commercial services will be October 15. If you're planning to visit Grand Canyon National Park this summer, this is good news you don't want to miss. The North Rim offers a unique perspective on the canyon's stunning beauty and is less crowded than the South Rim. Plus, with the lodge reopening, you can enjoy a comfortable stay and delicious meals without traveling far from the park.
