A Marvel of Affordability

New in the office, we have the new Lenovo IdeaPad Chromebook Slim 3 – or what we tend to just call the Slim 3. This Chromebook showed up quietly, following the same design ethos that Lenovo employed for the Flex 3i we recently reviewed and really enjoyed a lot. 

The Slim 3 is a classic clamshell device that's all-plastic and designed to be easy on your wallet. Unlike the Flex 3i which comes equipped with the latest Intel Alder Lake-N100 chip, the Slim 3 packs MediaTek's newest entry-level chip – the Kompanio 520. But don't be turned off by that 'entry-level' label, though –Robby had been testing this device for about a week now and has been honestly impressed by what Lenovo managed to achieve on a tight budget.

Some of Best Buy's best Black Friday in July Chromebook deals are still going

If you were looking around Amazon on Prime Day, you might have noticed this but the Chromebook deals are pretty terrible. 

There are some discounts on devices, but they aren't devices we'd recommend anyone buy unless they were priced far cheaper.

The solution?
