Stars praying for divine intervention ahead of the release
Kartik Aaryan, the lead male actor in the movie, sought divine blessings at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai ahead of the release. The movie did have its share of controversy with regard to the title which was initially named Satyanarayan ki Katha, which included the name of the Hindu God. A few radicals went on official protest with the name after which it was changed to Satyaprem Ki Katha Movie.
