How to create a PayPal account
1. Go to https://www.Paypal.com in your computer's web browser
2. Click "Sign Up" in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. On the next screen, choose whether you are setting up a business or personal Account. If you're simply using this to buy and sell on eBay, for example, or to send money to a family member or friend, you'll want to select "personal" here. Click "Next".

4. On the next page, you will be asked to enter your official first and last name and email address, as well as to create and confirm a password. Click "Next" when finished.

You will also need to enter your mailing address and phone number. After filling in this information, which is mandatory, click "I agree and create account" and your PayPal account will be created.
How to add a Bank Account or credit card to your PayPal account
In order to use PayPal's ability to send and receive money, you must link a bank account and/or credit card to your account. To do so, log in to your account and follow these instructions.
1. On the summary screen, click on the "Wallet" option in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
2. In the menu on the left side of the screen, click the "Link a credit or debit card" link if you want to use it with your account. Alternatively, if you want to link your bank account yourself, click the "Link Bank Account" option. Note that it may be useful to do both to create a source of backup funding in the future.

3. Enter the card or bank information you want to link to your PayPal account and click "Link Card" for debit cards or "Link Bank Account" if you are using this option.

Please note that if you are adding a bank account, it will take two to three days for the process to complete as PayPal will deposit small amounts into your account which you will need to enter through the PayPal website to confirm that you are the owner of the account.
