Four more minor housemaids have been recovered from the house of the influential Pir of Ranipur, Pir Asad Shah Jeelani, in a late-night raid on Sunday, local police said.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khairpur Mir Rohal Khan Khoso said the minor girls were confined in the house and were also subjected to torture, according to a report published in Dialogue Pakistan.

He added that the domestic workers will be handed over to their families after completing the necessary process.

Pir Asad was arrested by the district police for allegedly tort*ring his 10-year-old maid, identified as Fatima Furiro, to death last week.

The horrifying incident came to light after a video of the minor girl went viral on social media, in which she could be seen in a seriously injured condition.

In viral video, she was also seen struggling to sit up on her bed but due to injuries, she collapsed.

A day earlier, the Medical Board, formed to conduct the post-mortem examination, has confirmed sexual abuse and found torure marks on several body parts of Fatima.

Dr Amanullah Bhanghwar, an additional Police Surgeon Shaheed Benazirabad District, said the medical board found wounds on Fatima’s neck, abdomen and arms.

“[…] decomposition with bluish discoloration on right side of face and forehead and greenish mottled discoloration over the left side of face, neck and shoulder,” the initial post-mortem report revealed.

He said that the final post-mortem will confirm whether the minor girl was subjected to sexual assault.
