Latif Afridi Murder Case: Decision comes on Bail Application of the Accused

Bail application of the accused in the Latif Afridi murder case was heard in ATC (Anti Terrorism Court) Peshawar. During the hearing, the police informed the court that the accused Fawad facilitated the murder. 

According to Baaghi TV reports, the court granted bail to the accused. The ATC ordered the accused to deposit a bond of one lakh rupees.

Strict security arrangements had been made on the occasion. On January 16, Former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association and senior lawyer, Abdul Latif Afridi was shot dead in the High Court bar room.

According to reports at the time, Afridi had been killed over an alleged ‘family dispute‘. The basis of the murder was set in connection with another, as alleged killer Adnan Afridi is reportedly the nephew of the late Judge Aftab Afridi, who was killed alongside his wife, pregnant daughter-in-law, and a grandchild on the motorway in April. Latif Afridi had been named as an accused in the murder.
