Seychelles Or Bali? Choose Your Next Island Vacay!

Seychelles Or Bali? Choose Your Next Island Vacay!

If you are looking for a honeymoon destination or a relaxing family vacation, Bali and Seychelles is your best bet. But of course, you will only select one island destination and that can be tricky to choose.

But with this guide, you can easily select the place you really want to spend and that’s worth the money you’re going to spend!

Time to Explore

Let’s start with how much time it takes to explore the whole place and make the most out of your trip. Exploring the islands of Seychelles, and enjoying the watersports will take up a maximum of 4 to 5 days which isn’t a lot.

Whereas, for Bali, you will have to take out at least a week or more to fully explore the beaches, the temples, the cities, and do everything that a tourist does.

So, if you have limited time on your hand, and if you have to get to work soon, so Seychelles might be a better choice!

Weather And The Best Time To Visit

This matters a lot because if the weather ain’t right, you won’t be able to enjoy it to the fullest!

The best weather conditions in Seychelles range from April to June– if you’re a fan of beachy summer vibes. But if you prefer a tad cold breeze hitting your face as you walk down the sandy beaches of Seychelles, then August and November are perfect.

Although Bali and Seychelles share a similarity in weather conditions, Bali is best to visit in April to June, and then in September. It is not usually harshly cold or super hot, it is moderate and you can enjoy long walks around the island!

Budget And Value For Money

Of course, the airfares would differ according to your current destination, but let’s look at the average accommodation, food and drinks, exploration costs, and whether traveling to these

places gives you value for your money.

As compared to Bali, Seychelles has a bit pricier accommodation options– whether you choose a Budget hotel or a luxury resort, you’re definitely spending more in Seychelles than in Bali.

An average budget hotel room starts from $82, which isn’t exactly a budget option whereas you can get a pretty decent room at this price in Bali.

Similarly, the costs of food are much higher in Seychelles, and if you’re traveling with your whole family, then Seychelles may not be the best option for a budget trip.

A simple meal in Seychelles would cost anywhere around $20 per person whereas, you can get a fancy three-course meal for the same amount in Bali– that too, for 2 people!

Let’s talk public transport– Bali offers chauffeurs to drive you around and you can get a fancy car within $40 for at least 8-10 hours but the same thing in Seychelles would cost around $90!

Coming down to the main thing– the tourist attractions. The entrance fees, the watersports, activities, sightseeing, and everything else are more or less the same in Bali and Seychelles.

So if you’re looking for a budget travel destination, Seychelles is most definitely not the best place to go.
