It is the stage of life when women stop bleeding, and their menstrual cycle stops. This happens among women aged 45-55 who do not have periods for an extended period of 12 months. It occurs as the ovaries stop producing female reproductive hormones known as estrogen and progesterone. 

Women may have a variety of symptoms at menopausal age, including:

  • Vaginal dryness
  • Hairless
  • Excessive body hair
  • Hot flashes
  • Mood swings
