Meta AI Image Generation Now Available On WhatsApp
WhatsApp has joined the race of AI like Microsoft Copilot And Google Gemini image generation called “Imagine”. Meta has launched its upgraded artificial intelligence model for Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp. The Llama 3 will power Meta AI will work as an AI assistant for Meta owned platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp. The assistant will allow users to generate exclusive AI-images in real-time for free in WhatsApp.
“We’re making image generation faster, so you can create images from text in real-time using Meta AI’s Imagine feature,” the company said in an announcement. Meta is introducing this feature in the US in WhatsApp beta and the Meta AI web experience.
Meta says that when users will start typing, an image will appear and it will change with every few letters typed. Meta also shared an animation showing images are appearing as they are typing with Meta AI's Imagine feature in a WhatsApp chat.
“The images generated are also now sharper and higher quality, with a better ability to include text in images,” Meta said.
These AI generated images can be used for creating new album artwork, birthday decor and wedding signage. The AI assistant will also suggest prompts allowing users to modify their ideas to change the image to show their creativity.

Additionally, once users have finalised creating an image, they can also ask Meta AI to animate it. Users can iterate on it in a new style or even turn it into a GIF to share with their friends.
The new feature is just a part of a huge introduction of AI features across all the Meta owned apps, including Instagram, Facebook and Messenger. Recently, WhatsApp and Instagram users in India are enjoying the access to Meta AI.
Meta AI is now seamlessly integrated with the search functionalities within Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, enabling users to access real-time information without switching between apps.
Meta AI can now be accessed directly from the Facebook newsfeed, allowing users to inquire about posts they encounter.
Not only in WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and on the web, Meta AI is also available in the US on famous sunglasses brand Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and it will be coming to Meta Quest soon.
