How to schedule Twitter threads for free

This post goes over how to Schedule Twitter Threads, or sometimes referred to as tweetstorms, for free.

Sometimes your tweets can’t be contained to 280 characters. Sometimes you need multiple tweets, aka a Twitter thread (or tweetstorm) to summarize your thoughts.

Twitter threads are quickly becoming the best way to stand out on Twitter. Studies have shown that Twitter Threads lead to more likes, replies, and retweets than your standard single tweet.

However, there is one issue: Twitter does not provide a way to schedule Twitter threads on Twitter itself.

With Tweetdeck or other social media scheduling tools like Buffer, you can schedule tweets.

But neither of those options allows you to schedule Twitter threads for the future. They only allow you to schedule single tweets.

So how can you schedule Twitter threads for free?

To schedule Twitter threads, you can use the tweet scheduling tool OneUp. It is one of the only social media scheduling tools that support scheduling Twitter threads. And yes, there is a Free Plan

Just like on Twitter, you can add up to 4 images to any of the tweets in the thread by clicking the image icon:

And unlike some other Twitter thread scheduling tools, OneUp supports adding videos and GIFs to tweets in Twitter threads as well.

You can add Alt Text to your images, and you can @mention accounts using OneUp. Just type “@” and some letters and you will get suggested accounts:

Once you’re finished, you can either post your thread now, schedule it for a date in the future, or save it to your Drafts folder.
