Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides Get a Makeover: It’s Time to Get Productive on Android

Google has revealed that the Docs, Sheets, and Slides applications for Android smartphones will receive an update. Along with additional features and functionality, the modifications will include a fresh, more contemporary style.

All Android smartphones running Android 11 or later will be able to access the update when it launches in the upcoming weeks. The updated look of Docs, Sheets, and Slides is more in line with the aesthetic of other Google applications, such as Gmail and Google Drive. Larger, easier-to-tap buttons and cleaner, more streamlined icons will be seen across the apps.

Users will find it simpler to produce and modify documents, spreadsheets, and presentations thanks to the additional productivity tools. Over that, consumers will, for instance, be able to track changes to documents and add comments and annotations to them.

Google has been working to improve the usability and productivity of its products for a while, and Docs, Sheets, and Slides have just seen some changes. According to the firm, the modifications will simplify the process for customers who use Android smartphones to generate and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
